Resident Profile: Josh, Litia and Kalisti Jones

What drew you to Pinewood Forest? After traveling and living in Europe, we wanted a similar lifestyle centered around community. We loved the idea of having the places where life happens within walking distance and being surrounded by people who truly want to know their neighbors and be a part of each other’s lives.

How long have you lived in Pinewood Forest? We’ve been Pinewood residents for almost one year. Kali was the first Pinewood Forest baby, born a few months after we moved.

What makes your home unique? We are on a corner with a wonderful fenced in yard, which is perfect for our little girl and three dogs. We also have a sunny rooftop terrace off our master bedroom where we can watch the sun set over the lake.

What is the best part of living in this community? Our neighbors want to be invested in each other’s lives. We get together every Friday night which helps us get past small talk and really get to know each other. We have so many new neighborhood friends, aunts, uncles, parents and babysitters!

What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities? Josh is an avid golfer and loves to cook. Litia enjoys thrift shopping and decorating. Kali is currently trying to skip crawling and go straight to walking. Together we love hosting friends and family in our home and traveling the world.

What amenity are you enjoying the most in the Pinewood Forest community? Our favorite amenity would definitely be the dog park! We also thoroughly enjoy the pool and Central Park.

What do you do when you’re not raising a family? We both work for Chick-fil-A’s Support Center. Josh works in Digital Transformation and Litia works in Restaurant Training.

How does living in Pinewood Forest fuel your creativity? Pinewood Forest really inspires us to prioritize what is most important in life. Our home has just what we need. We strive to be minimalist in our smaller footprint and take advantage of the beautiful and intentional outdoor and community spaces. This helps us have more capacity to enjoy each other and the people in our lives.
