What an amazing season we are experiencing at Pinewood Forest. As our Town Center begins to go vertical there is progress to be seen each and every day. The Piedmont Wellness Center is nearly complete and will open later this month. The Two Ten Office Building right next door will be dried-in soon and is already being skinned with 100-year old reclaimed brick. Our first 263 multi-family units are under way, with the first apartments to be completed by the end of this year. While an unusually heavy rain season caused delays for us earlier in the year, the past 60 days of dry weather has allowed our crews to accelerate the project and make up much of the lost time. Concurrent with these projects we are also building our first restaurants including Hop City/Barley Garden, Pancake Social, Honeysuckle Gelato, and Braise.
While the Town Center progresses, our residential builders are hard at work trying to keep up with demand for new homes single family homes and townhouses. With Phase One residential in the final stages of development, Phase Two infrastructure is now being installed including roads, storm, sewer, power and low voltage. It is hard to believe that it was a little over two years ago that we sold our first home and now have over 100 homes completed or under contract. Progress can be seen daily on the residential side as well.
In addition to all of the buildings going vertical, our amenities continue to take shape including Central Park’s tennis courts, basketball court, frog pond, as well as some remarkable artistic stone work. At the southwest side of town the new dog park is taking shape and is scheduled for completion this month. Everywhere you look something is under construction. What an exciting time to live, work and create at Pinewood Forest
